How DTP Helps
Everything begins with reading. This basic life skill is the foundation of your success – in school, at work, and in life. But if you learn differently, learning to read can be a challenge. For over 40 years DTP has offered free, one-on-one tutoring tailored for students who learn differently. So that everyone can learn to read and live with hope.

Become a DTP Student
If you are struggling to read and think you have a dyslexic learning style, Dyslexia Tutoring Program may be able to help!
Our tutoring program provides one-on-one tutoring by trained volunteers, tailored to each student’s reading skill level. We use a structured, multisensory, evidence based approach – Orton-Gillingham – which has been proven to be effective with students who have a dyslexic learning style. Students meet with their tutors once a week, in person, for one hour. All services are FREE!
PLEASE NOTE: DTP does not provide diagnostic testing and cannot diagnose you or your child with dyslexia. Our screenings only help us determine if our program can address your reading difficulties.
