The time you spend with your scholars is life changing. But equally essential are timely session reports that document your service delivery. All tutors are now required to submit a session report within 24 hours of every scheduled tutoring session, even if the session did not take place.

Your session reports are more than just an administrative detail; they are critical to DTP’s ability to secure funding, comply with state requirements and continue operating. Without them DTP cannot:
- Meet Maryland State Department of Education reporting requirements
- Fulfill grant and funder reporting obligations
- Monitor student progress and attendance
- Track tutors’ volunteer hours
- Verify service delivery and demonstrate our impact
To report a tutoring session that was canceled or did not take place, please:
- Enter the scheduled tutoring date.
- Record 0 minutes.
- Briefly explain in the Notes section why the session did not occur (for example, scholar absent, tutor unavailable, weather, holiday, etc.).
